Miss Reena Dave MBBS BSc MSc FRCOphth is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and sub-speciality Lead for the Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus service at Hillingdon NHS Trust. She specialises in all aspects of paediatric eye problems, adult cataract surgery and general eye complaints.
Miss Reena Dave studied Medicine at St. Georges University of London during which she also gained a BSc in Physiology. Her core ophthalmology training was carried out in London followed by fellowships in paediatrics and strabismus at St. Thomas’ Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Currently she is the speciality lead for paediatrics and strabismus at Hillingdon NHS Trust where she provides specialist services for paediatric eye problems including squint (strabismus), amblyopia (lazy eye), double vision, refractive/vision problems and more. She also provides surgical treatment for adult cataracts and paediatric and adult squints (including Botulinum toxin injections for squint).
Miss Dave believes in a child centred approach to managing ocular conditions and she involves the parents fully in making the best decision for their child. She understands the impact that these important decisions can have on a child’s entire life.

Miss Dave can treat even the smallest members of the family! From infancy to 18, she has experience in dealing with examination, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing wellness for your children.
Miss Dave can treat general ophthalmic conditions including styes, red eyes and dry eyes. She can provide assessment, treatment and surgery if needed.
Treatment for adult strabismus is offered and options can be explored together to ensure optimum eye alignment. Both botulinum toxin and surgery can be offered for treatment of strabismus.
